Vienna, the capital city of Austria, is a city of superlatives and delights every visitor. The tour begins by a roundtrip around Uranium, Schwarzenberg Square, Charles Square, Hall of the Musikverein along towards the State Opera. The circuit continues along the traditional grand buildings such as the Parliament, the Castle Theatre, University and the Votivsky church. A pleasant stroll through the medieval old town of Vienna and the courtyard will bring you to the St. Stephen's Dome, where you will have enough free time to visit the cathedral, typical Viennese coffee houses or simply go shopping on the well known Kärntner Straße.

Vienna City Tour (2. Hofburg)

During this tour you will discover the most important sights of Vienna. Setting off around the Ferris wheel towards the center through the Schwarzenberg Square and Karlsplatz square, where you will see the most beautiful baroque church of Vienna, around the hall Musikverein, home of the Vienna Philharmonic, towards the State Opera. From the Albertina you will take a nice stroll through the Hofburg, the former winter residence of the imperial family. At the "heart of Vienna", the Stephansplatz, you will have enough free time to visit St. Stephen's Dome, the famous landmark of Vienna, or visit the viennese coffee houses. On the way back you will get to the Hundertwasser House, one of the most famous examples of modern architecture in Vienna.

Guided tours during the Christmas markets

During this tour you will discover other sights of Vienna. A drive around the Prater and Uranium will get you to the St. Stephen's Dome. Here you will have free time to visit the dome, or a typical Viennese coffee house. After a short walk the tour will continue by bus via the ring road along the traditional emblematic buildings such as the State Opera, Hofburg, Parliament, Castle Theater and Karlsplatz, where you will see the most beautiful baroque church of Vienna and the Musikverein, the home of Vienna Philharmonic. Upon arrival at the Town Hall you will have time to visit the famous Christmas markets. Then you will go by bus around the University and the Votive Church back to the ship.

Schloss Schönbrunn

Today you will visit the most beautiful and most famous building of Austria – The Schönbrunn Castle. It was the main residence of King Louis XIV. and became internationally known for the movie about the story of Empress Sissi. The former hunting lodge was later the summer residence of Empress Maria Theresa. The guide you will not forget to point out the beautiful interiors and later you will still have time to walk in the beautiful park.

Schloss Schönbrunn and Belvedere

This trip takes you to the most important baroque palaces and estates in Vienna – Schönbrunn Castle. The former summer residence of the imperial family was in the largest bloom during the era of the world famous Maria Theresa and Emperor Francis Joseph and his wife Elizabeth, also known as "Sissi". You will visit the most beautiful and most valuable residential and public rooms of this magnificent castle. You will enjoy the impressive Belvedere Castle Gardens, where the famous military hero Pricne Eugene (“the noble knight”) has spent his summer months.

Vienna at night

Explore Vienna during this evening trip. You start by a roundtrip across the city circuit, where you will see the beautifully illuminated representative buildings. Evening Concert "Palace Orchestra"

Residenzorchester, one of the most successful chamber orchestras in Vienna, with around five players in the Rococo and Biedermeier costumes, two opera singers and a ballet pair will interpret the most beautiful melodies of Mozart and Johann Strauss. Let yourself be tempted this evening by the beautiful sounds and the charming atmosphere. During breaks, you are invited to drink champagne or orange juice.

Treasury

This half-day trip takes you to the Imperial Palace – "A city within a city"– in the center of Vienna. Through the Schweizertor gate you will walk into the oldest part of the former imperial residence. Here in the treasure house you can find unique treasures of Habsburg, among them the Austrian imperial crown and the imperial crown of the Holy Roman Empire. Other attractions are the treasure of the Order of the Golden Fleece, as well as the Burgundian treasure. Discover the charming and legendary treasures of the Empress such as the fabulous unicorn horn. Exhibits are not merely a witness of history and symbols of power, but of course also have great material value. After the tour there is a bit of free time, which you can use to travel back to the bus through the former private imperial gardens with famous sights. The bus will take you back to the ship.

Sissi Museum and the Silver Treasury

You will visit the former private rooms of Emperor Franz Joseph and his famous wife, Elisabeth, called Sissi. In the world of the Imperial Palace in central Vienna you will learn the everyday life of the monarchs, and be amazed over the culinary practices of the Habsburgs. In the Sissi museum, you can discover the complex and unusual character of Elizabeth. Walk through to the real environment of the Empress and reveal myths and the truth. Many personal items, as well as the most famous portraits of the beautiful Empress Elizabeth's life documented in particular in the control center of the Habsburg monarchy. House of Music

This tour invites you to journey into the world of music right in the center of Vienna. Look forward to the surprises that awaits you in the world capital of music! After the tour you will have time to try a number of interactive features, or choose from the beautiful music samples. Laxenburg near Vienna

A visit to a favorite summer residence of Empress Sissi, Laxenburg near Vienna. Upon arrival at the main gate of the romantical park you will be carried by a train through the territory of the park, which is concidered to be a historical monument of garden design. The park remembers the size and fate of the Habsburg dynasty, which built and visited the park each year for recreation. Small transport through the pond to get to the famous castle building of Franzensburg. Emperor Francis II had the castle built in neo-Gothic style. His most famous grandson, Emperor Franz Joseph spent much time here as a child and chose it as his place of Laxenburg honeymoon with Sissi. The remarkable interior decoration, wooden ceilings, wall paneling, antiques and paintings have been transferred here from all parts of the monarchy. After the tour you will have time to indulge something refreshing in the dairy, or to go for a walk into the park. Finally, you will get a train back to the bus, which will bring you  back to the ship.

Klosterneuburg Monastery with wine tasting (Vienna Woods - North 1)

Klosterneuburg , the 900 years old monastery, is siuated near Vienna. Visit the famous "Verdune altar” with a spectacular glass and goldsmiths work. The winged altar is one of the best preserved and most valuable art treasures of the Mediaeval Ages. The magnificent temple is a symbol of the secular and spiritual connection of power. Enjoy the sight of the value of the Baroque in the footsteps of Emperor Charles VI and his gigantic project – "Austrian Escorial". It still is one of the oldest and largest winery in Austria. Augustinian canoneers of Klosterneuburg have become one of the leading winemakers in Austria. In a small tasting of wine and cakes you can convince yourself of the quality of local wines. Before leaving on the bus, you can buy the wine in the monastery tavern.

After a short free time you will continue by a stroll through the streets of Kahlenberg, a hill ina Vienna. Here you will have a wonderful view over the city of Vienna. This half-day trip will take you to the famous Viennese forest, clear lined with beech trees in the south of Vienna. Because of his collecting passion the Earl had built the castle from original parts collected throughout Europe. The inside is divided into 16 rooms equipped with 16 000 exhibits, which is extremely generous. During the tour you will see the arms and armor, paintings, handmade products and home furniture. You will discover the origin of many achievements of our time in the old objects and habits of everyday’s life in the Medaeval Ages. You will have time to rest or to walk in the woods before the journey back, during which you will see the main attractions of the square Korneuburg.
